My name is Isaac. As a college student, I do my best to find ways to live simply, eat simply, stay healthy, and save money.

On this site you will find a variety of methods to simplify your food and eating habits by incorporating creativity into your food preparations and to shop opportunistically at places like Vitacost and Grocery Outlet to find healthy items – even organic or premium ones – at lower prices than can be found elsewhere.

My philosophy is that food is very important to our physical and mental well-being, but we should not be fanatical about it. Life is busy, and there are more important things than the food we eat. That is why I believe that we should put a healthy amount of effort into eating simply and healthfully, and I firmly believe there are ways to do this – especially if we learn some “shortcuts” to doing this. Many of the tips I give on this blog are my own personal shortcuts and suggestions for being creative and whimsical in our food creations. By learning to utilize more natural foods in our diet and learning to enjoy and become accustomed to the variety of nature’s bounty in a simple, nonchalant way, we can learn to simplify our lives, eat and be healthier, and spend less time and money doing it.
